4. Main dimensions. The main dimensions (i.e. functional dimensions) of furniture are required by national standards. According to the regulations of the wardrobe, the depth of the space inside the hanging wardrobe should be greater than or equal to 530mm, the distance from the upper edge of the hanging rod for long clothes to the surface of the bottom plate should be greater than or equal to 1400mm, the height of desk furniture should be specified as 680mm~760mm, and the middle clearance height from the lower edge of the middle drawer of the office desk to the ground height should be greater than or equal to 580mm. The clearance height between the shelves of the bookshelf should be greater than or equal to 230mm~310mm, etc. If furniture is smaller than the specified size, it will cause a lot of inconvenience and affect its use.
5. Limit harmful substances in wooden furniture. The harmful substances present in furniture mainly include free formaldehyde released from artificial boards and adhesives, as well as soluble lead, chromium, cadmium, and mercury in furniture paint films.
